Abstract
The purpose of the research was to determine the increasement of student motivation to study business economics by using gamification-based online learning. This research uses classroom action research method which consists of two cycles. The research instrument used was an online quiz sheet using Quizizz application and a student learning motivation questionnaire. The research subjects were students of Economics Education of STKIP PGRI Nganjuk who were taking business economics courses. Research data is the value of each indicator of learning motivation. The results of this research are the use of gamification in online learning for business economics courses can increase student learning motivation. This increasement of motivation is proven by the average indicator of student learning motivation from the pre-cycle of 42.70% in the less category, in the first cycle of 56.86% within the sufficient category and in the third cycle of 70.4% within the good category
