Abstract

This study aims to know: 1) Differences in the use of Flash and Powerpoint-based learning media on physics learning outcomes, 2) Differences in high motivation, moderate motivation, and low motivation towards physics learning outcomes, 3) Interaction between learning media and student learning motivation towards results study physics. This research method is an experimental method. Data collection techniques used the test method for students' physics learning outcomes data that had previously been tested for validity, reliability, degree of difficulty, and distinguishing power as well as the observation method for student motivation data. Testing analysis requirements using the normality test and homogeneity test. The data analysis technique used was two-way analysis of variance (anava) with unequal cells, as a follow-up of the variance analysis the Scheffe test was carried out. The results of the study with α = 5% can be concluded that: (1) F count = 9001> Ftable = 4,007 so that it is rejected which means there are differences in the use of Flash-based learning media and Powerpoint media on the results of learning physics. (2) F count = 21,342> F table = 3,156 so that is rejected which means there are differences in high motivation, moderate motivation, and low motivation towards the results of learning physics. (3) F count = 0.4786 <F table = 3.156 so that it is accepted which means there is no interaction between learning media and student motivation towards physics learning outcomes.
