Abstract
The goal of the research is to find out out the difference of the influence between students reading motivation towards reading comprehension in narrative text which was observed and analyzed from the tenth grade TKL 2 students of SMK Tamansiswa Mojokerto. The research is expost facto design. The population of the research are 300 students and 30 students were being the subject of the research as the sample. All are from the tenth grade TKL 2 of SMK Tamansiswa Mojokerto. This research was using quantitative method by collecting the data from the questionnaire and test result of all tenth grade TKL 2 students of SMK Tamansiswa Mojokerto. All the data gained in this research was analyzed by using t test formula. Based on the result from the study, the researcher found that, ttest = 2,05. Based on the results of analysis level significance 5%, t value is 1,70. It means, ttest > ttable so, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So that there was significance difference between high students reading motivation achieve better score in reading comprehension of narrative text than the low students reading motivation at the tenth grade of SMK Tamansiswa Mojokerto in academic year of 2020/2021.
